B. Braun Medical has launched total reward statements to communicate to employees the total value of their reward package.

The supplier of medical supplies hopes the enhanced communication will improve staff engagement levels among the 400-strong workforce.

The firm is working with Thomsons Online Benefits and is ensuring each total reward statement is personalised and sent to individual employees' home addresses. Staff all received a brochure outlining the cash value of their remuneration package and additional company benefits they are entitled to.

Alex Bailey, remuneration manager at B. Braun, said: "The feedback from employees has been extremely positive, particularly around the presentation and design. We offer and excellent benefits package and introducing total reward statements has reminded people to look beyond their annual salary."
